Sr. DevOps Engineer
We're looking for highly-driven, creative, and passionate Technology leaders to join our growing team in Marina del Rey.
You will be a key member of our technology team, working on our AWS based platform.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will work directly with cross-functional teams to create great experiences and successful software.
You'll have direct input on our platform, architecture and own the reliability of our site.
You will lead pragmatic technology decisions while mentoring junior team members and maintaining a zero-downtime, continuous deployment environment.
What you will be doing Build solutions to problems that interrupt availability, performance, and stability in our systems, services, and products Perform a wide variety of technical and administrative duties in overall systems design, development, and delivery Develop, improve, and thoroughly document operational practices and procedures Partner cross-departmentally to understand functionality, automation, scalability, performance, security, and integration Develop and implement performance standards and best practices Perform platform performance reviews and performance optimization on all layers as needed What you will need Hands-on experience with AWS services such as:
EC2, ECS, Elastic Beanstalk, AutoScaling, VPC, RDS, S3, Lambda, CloudFront, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, IAM Experience on proxies, load balancers and networking and security configurations Ability to manage and grow all aspects of AWS or managed hosting, including scaling, security, performance, build and deployment automation Deep knowledge of Linux fundamentals Design, development and operations experience with highly-available, scalable, and fault tolerant systems Experience with continuous deployment/continuous delivery using tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins, Docker/ECS etc Scripting experience in languages such as PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby, or Bash Familiarity with logging/monitoring using tools such as CloudWatch, DataDog, LogStash, Kibana a plus Bonus Points:
Experience in tuning the JVM Experience with Kinesis and/or Kafka Experience with Aurora, Redis, MongoDB, ElasticSearch or Neo4j Experience with Docker or other Containerization of services What We Offer Competitive Salary
