Summary:
We are seeking a professional and personable Hotel Front Desk Agent to join our team in Foghorn Harbor Inn Hotel located in Marina Del Rey.
The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and assisting guests with inquiries to ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay.
Responsibilities:
1.
Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner upon arrival.
2.
Assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, and provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
3.
Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently using the hotel's management software.
4.
Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to their satisfaction.
5.
Maintain accurate records of guest accounts, payments, and transactions.
6.
Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth guest experiences.
7.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
8.
Follow hotel policies and procedures to ensure safety and security for guests and their belongings.
9.
Upsell hotel amenities, services, and promotions to guests to enhance their experience.
10.
Collaborate with the housekeeping team to manage room inventory and ensure rooms are ready for guest arrivals.
Requirements:
1.
Previous experience in customer service or hospitality roles preferred.
2.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3.
Proficiency in using computer systems and hotel management software.
4.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
5.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism.
6.
Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
7.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality is a plus.
