General Maintenance Engineer - Part Time

Pacifica Hotels is looking for a part-time General Maintenance Engineer to join our team at the Jamaica Bay Inn.
The General Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the corrective, preventative and emergency maintenance needs of the property.
Core functions of the position, but are not limited to the following:
oMaintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
oCommunicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
oBasic electrical and plumbing repairs.
oCarpentry and screening.
oInterior and exterior painting.
oChanging locks, installing smoke alarms.
oPool maintenance.
oMaintain shop and tools in clean, orderly and safe condition.
oPeriodically clean gutters, drain water heaters.
oProvide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
oPerform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.

Salary Range:
$19-22.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
